Great Little Car

The C-Max rides, drives, and handles like a big car. It is extremely quiet and comfortable on long trips. Excels in mountain or interstate driving. I have driven mine on several trips of 2000 miles through mountains and interstates. The hybrid systems work without any noticeable change from gasoline to battery, just an amusing display. Mileage is as high as 64 mpg on short trips around town and up to 55 on highway stretches.…

I enjoy many things about this car. The higher seating allows more of a panoramic view. The hybrid often gives me 50+ mpg when driving in the 60 mph range. The performance of this hybrid is surprising compared to the much slower Prius. It's very comfortable seating. I'm tall and enjoy never bumping my head getting in and out of my Cmax, which was often a problem in the many sedans I drove. The high interior area allows for placing lawnmowers and other tall objects into the vehicle with the backseats down. I can't think of any negatives. There have never been any safety of manufacturer recalls on this vehicle. I give it 5 stars.…

Great pick-up (zoom-zoom), teaches you how to save gas, quiet interior, SYNC works great for phone and Audio. Love that you can see GPS screen, with audio screen. Heated seats are fab. Interior is so comfortable for 4 adults. My friends Prius is so noisy inside you can barely hear someone speak if you are in back seat. There are only 2 things that are irksome: the sun visors are in the worst position possible and they are so small they do almost nothing! Ford tried to compensate for this by really darkening the center windshield behind the rear view mirror, but that doesnt really help. I have to keep a piece of cardboard in the car to extend the visor down about 2 inches. The second thing is that the GPS requires so many steps to get going. Say Find an address, Say the address, Say set as destination, then hit Start. Its just so clumsy compared to a phone! But I have heard this about so many auto GPS systems that it must be systemic. A lot of people use their smartphone GPS even in their cars!…
